As a Product Marketing Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of millions of people and local businesses.
It’s a great time to start creating new products on Yelp. We are transforming a business known simply as a restaurant review site into one that provides innovative services for dealing with all types of businesses, from restaurants to entrepreneurs. Creating this latest experience introduces the market and the competition. Marketing and promotional products are at the heart of Yelp’s growth. Iterating on an existing set of advertising products and creating entirely new products that impact every market segment is critical to our success.
The Advertising Products Team is a group of 15 professional advertising project managers ranging from mid-level project managers to senior executives and project managers, currently spread across North America and Europe. We are looking for a manager to define the right product for our important advertising and drive our future financial strategy. This role includes advertising and campaign strategy, product promotion and page optimization, product integration and redesign, etc.
This time is distant and does not require you to live in a specific state in the United States. We welcome applicants from anywhere in the United States. What will you do:
Build, train and coach international teams on product launches. It guides you through product recommendations around Yelp’s most important processes, including contests, campaigns, and ad campaigns.
Communicate with leaders to support your plans, collaborate and work according to your vision and strategy. You will partner with leaders from other Biz Ops, Product, Eng, and GTM organizations to define company-wide strategies and tie goals to your marketing strategy. .
Facilitate team development by facilitating new learning and career development. Work with other functions such as finance and human resources to manage budgets, people and compensation to lead your team to success.
What do you need to do:
Over 10 years of experience in the advertising/marketing field. 5+ years of product management experience, best team management experience.
