The youngest of all ILM studios, the Sydney studio draws on the experience and technological know-how developed over 40 years at Industrial Light & Magic in combination with the best artists and technicians in the region. Knowledge and culture flow freely between the firm’s five studios, and the global team provides tools and workflows that enable seamless teamwork on all joint projects. The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design and development of all aspects of the studio’s production infrastructure. You are responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the studio infrastructure used by all departments of the business and for ensuring the smooth running of our multi-site, award-winning visual effects company.
Main Responsibilities And Responsibilities:
● collaborates with local and global technological equipment, artists and productions to maintain and develop efficient systems and services
● Participate in daily operations and support activities in the local study
● Provides tutoring and assistance for you and other support teams
● serves as a resource for knowledge for systems and services used in ILM

Educational Experience:
● Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
● 3 years of administration experience of systems in complex heterogeneous environments
