Full Job Description :

Responsible for applying advanced data analytics tools and techniques to provide actionable insights and recommendations for the business. Use complex statistical models to make predictions about future outcomes and in multiple scenarios. Interpret and apply data in complex analyzes and explain results to business audiences to improve products and processes.
May support or lead the development of commercial offerings related to data and/or other intellectual property (IP)
Perform statistical and mathematical analysis to support business decision making. Develop and/or use algorithms and statistical predictive models and determine analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate future scenarios and possible outcomes.
Apply analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, using advanced statistical techniques such as predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design and analysis, and data mining. Document projects including business objectives, data collection and processing, main approaches, final algorithm, detailed set of results and analytical metrics.
Develop materials to explain the project results. Effectively solves problems and obstacles as they arise.
Interacts with internal and external colleagues and/or managers to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned tasks. Prepare and present interpretation of results to internal clients.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, mathematics OR Economics AND at least 2 years experience in a statistical role OR Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, computational or technical discipline AND at least 2 years experience in a statistical role
SQL knowledge
Experience in data science, advanced analytics, or statistics to query data, perform analysis, interpret data, and present it to business audiences. Knowledge of open source data science and statistics packages such as Python, R, Spark, etc.
Experience in establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (colleagues, business partners and leadership) and external (business community, customers and suppliers) within a matrix organization to ensure quality standards for service. Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify problems, trends or exceptions to achieve better results and find solutions.
Willing to travel up to 10% of time for business purposes (in and out of state).
