Starbucks India is a 50/50 joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and Starbucks Coffee Company. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Working with integrity, honesty and knowledge promotes the culture and values of TATA Starbucks.
Anticipate customer and store needs by reviewing the environment and customers regularly for presentations. Maintains a calm demeanor during high volume or special events to keep the store operating within prescribed standards to set a good example for shift teams.
Assists in the training of new associates by promoting efficiency and providing respectful training and support as needed. Provides feedback to the Store Manager on associate performance during shifts.
Contributes to a positive team environment by acknowledging complaints or changes in associate behavior and performance and communicating them to the Store Manager. Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to working partners to ensure optimal performance and improve partner performance.
Provides legendary customer service to all customers by practicing “customer first” practices and behaviors and connecting with customers. Identifies and responds to customer needs.
Develops positive relationships with shift workers by understanding and supporting individual motivations, needs and concerns. Performs shop duties during scheduled shifts. Coordinates assigned opening and closing duties. Adheres to TATA Starbucks operating principles and procedures, including those related to financial management and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all associates during any transaction.
Adheres to all financial and accounting procedures and ensures that shift personnel follow appropriate financial management procedures. Accompany baristas during shifts to ensure customer service is delivered to all customers.
Maintain regular and timely attendance and attendance. Delivers quality beverages, grains and food products to all customers by meeting all regulatory and presentation standards.
Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards for all products. Identifies and drives individual and team achievement using existing organizational tools and collaborating with store management to find new and effective identification methods.
