As a District Manager, you enjoy developing amazing store managers, creating exceptional customer experiences, influencing Starbucks store growth, and being part of the community. At Starbucks, we focus on performance through a human lens. You lead a portfolio of multi-unit stores by consistently planning and implementing them. You are a leader of leaders, developing teams that know their markets, communities and customers.
Using your previous business management experience, you:
Develop a portfolio of successful businesses: Develop a regional strategy to achieve each store’s financial, operational and customer service goals, while addressing each store’s unique strengths and challenges.
Lead a leadership team: inspire, manage and empower store managers such as team leaders, salespeople and business owners. Serve as a resource: Provide expertise on key customer issues, personnel and team management, store operations, and company policies and procedures.
We would like to hear from people who have:
5+ years of business experience managing 2 or more stores, departments or units, P&L, inventory, operations and customer service.
5+ years of management experience leading a team of 6 or more, including training and coaching, with strong leadership and communication skills.
3+ years of experience in customer focused service
Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant operations and financial reporting
Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Minimum high school diploma or GED. Note: a college degree in business or a closely related field, or more than 4 years of US military service may substitute for some of the required experience.
Is required:
A legal document confirming your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the country you are applying to.
Ability to work full-time (work requiring more than 40 hours per week), including shift times, including mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
