Duties associated with the position.

Leads organizes, directs, manages, and maintains interrelated program activities for transformation programs that have the largest scope, benefits, and impact across business units.
Implements ranked transformation programs, establishing program management practices, and concentrating the team on the initiatives required to achieve the desired results.
oversees program activities to make sure that excellent results are achieved within the given time and budget constraints. In collaboration with the executive team and business executives, develops the comprehensive approach and evaluation of transformation programs.

assures that program requirements, operational goals, and divisional standards are met, as well as that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Minimum requirements.

A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience working in an analytically demanding field, such as investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or business operations at another high-touch company, are required. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of experience working in an analytically demanding field, such as investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or business operations at another high-touch company, are required.
extensive experience applying or carrying out project management methodologies and practices, including creating a project plan, charter, scope, project management approach, and management plans.
a portfolio management background.

knowledge of communicating program plans and cost-benefit analyses to the proper executives, senior management, and stakeholders.
An understanding of how to build and maintain connections with people at all organizational levels, in the business world, and with suppliers.
expertise in identifying operational problems and formulating and putting into practice solutions.
strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
a minimum of one year of direct, indirect, or cross-functional team leadership experience.
being open to traveling for work up to 10% of the time, both inside and outside of their home state.

Preferred credentials.

understanding of business procedures as they relate to a functional area, such as project management, lean six sigma, or strategy.
strategic planning initiatives facilitation experience.
PPM tool knowledge.
influencing others with experience, including senior leadership.
acquired or demonstrated a willingness to acquire PMP certification.
