Concerned with security issues is Apple’s Security Engineering and Architecture team (SEAR). The best offense, in our opinion, is a strong defense, so safety is something we take very seriously. To protect more than a billion devices running the most cutting-edge operating systems currently available, vulnerabilities must first be found.

Join our outstanding team of security researchers to find vulnerabilities in Apple products before they are published.

 Essential Conditions.

•  background in secure coding and code auditing.
•  expert in reverse engineering (IDA Pro, Ghidra, etc. (As well as developing plug-ins.
•  capable of exploiting the operating systems’ security features.
•  creating proofs of concepts (POCs) that can be used with confidence to avoid detection by anti-exploitation controls for common vulnerabilities.
•  programming knowledge in Python, Objective-C, C, or C++.
•  proficient in assembly languages and ARM architectures.
•  understanding of modern processor architecture.
•  solid familiarity with the principles and uses of cryptographic protocols and primitives.
•  the ability to oversee and keep track of numerous projects at once.

 Description.

•  Our group focuses on protecting low-level technologies like the kernels of OS X and iOS as well as hardware, firmware, boot ROMs, and other software. As you work with numerous teams and vendors, your influence will be felt across all of Apple’s remarkable products, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
•  assigned the responsibility of identifying potential dangers and actively contributing to Apple’s response to significant issues as they arise. The tasks are as varied as they are significant and include reverse engineering an exploit, providing insightful analysis, creating state-of-the-art tools, collaborating with other teams on both hardware and software, auditing code, and reviewing designs. This position requires a person with excellent technical abilities and a strong desire to secure systems by showing how they can be compromised.
•  Every day, you’ll work in a variety of areas to make Apple’s products the safest on the market. You’ll be tasked with evaluating security-critical hardware and software, developing automated vulnerability discovery tools, producing exploits to evaluate the efficacy of existing mitigation strategies, and offering security design guidance to other teams.
•  Experience designing secure embedded and -architecture systems for iOS and macOS is advantageous.
