The product marketing manager contributes to the advancement of an effective marketing and performance-based brand strategy by bridging the gap between our design, product management, and marketing teams—internal and external. Data and customer insights are combined to achieve marketing and business goals.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities.
- Push notifications, emailers, in-game blockers, etc. are used to create and guarantee the correct implementation of all product and marketing strategies. to work together with the marketing, game, and live operations teams.
- We adjust events to account for high-quality players, monitor each adjusted event for quality, and test for more events to assist our UA partners in improving their campaigns.
- Make and implement a marketing roadmap that covers all of our messaging platforms, marketing tools, and campaign assets. Break down the features of the roadmap to create goals.
- Establish KPIs for CTR and conversion of messaging and marketing campaigns in collaboration with senior product managers and project leads.
- Work together with the publisher to oversee their campaigns for VIP engagement and retention.
- Develop a messaging strategy and an execution schedule for in-game LiveOps events and feature updates in collaboration with internal teams.
- Participate in market research, competitor tracking, competitor analysis, consumer research, and strategic industry tracking with a team of analysts.
- Based on your analysis, change your marketing plan as necessary.
- By using analysis, we can identify player target segments, position new games in the market, and identify value propositions and key messages that will draw the right players to our games.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports to management and the game teams to aid in guiding business, UA, marketing, and strategic decisions.
- Determine market opportunities and the Boss Fight product target demographics by using consumer insights.
- Determine the market sizes for the target player segments.
- Deliver thorough marketing projections and management presentations on a weekly and quarterly basis, as needed, in close collaboration with the game teams.
- Serve as a bridge to ensure coordination throughout the entire lifecycle of the product between all internal and external teams, stakeholders, paid acquisitions, and social channels.
- To ensure that features can meet KPI targets, consult engineers and designers.
- For marketing campaigns and app stores, design and implement AB and multivariate tests.
- To increase retention, particularly of VIPs, work on re-engagement campaigns (often in cooperation with the Community) via push, email, and social media.
- When we release new features, collaborate with internal teams to update App Store pages, including the icon, copy, keywords, and screenshots, and to ensure App Store optimization.
