Full Job Description :
OUR NEED FOR YOUR SUPPORT (SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES).
- A full-stack software engineer is required to join the Operations Decision Science (ODS) group at Delta’s software development team. As a developer, you would actively create code, contribute to the architecture of the software, help other developers, and generally have an impact on how ODS creates and maintains applications. The larger ODS team is made up of analysts, engineers, and data scientists who are committed to enhancing Delta’s various operations’ capacity for decision-making through simulation, prediction, and analysis.
- An ideal candidate for learning and working in a team environment would be a recent graduate or someone with little professional experience. Effective collaboration within ODS and among other Delta teams is equally as important as technical know-how or applying industry best practices for product, Git, and Agile. The candidate should have some technical expertise and experience developing dependable, efficient, standards-based processes, preferably in a distributed environment.
- Delta’s future scientifically oriented application designs will be significantly influenced by the chosen applicant.
Primary Functions:
- Develop and put into practice software products from the prototype to almost production levels.
- Implement front-end user interfaces using modern web frameworks.
- APIs and server-side components should be created.
- execute product roadmaps collectively.
- Collaborate as necessary with IT and other groups to support the deployment of apps and the productization and subsequent deployment of those apps.
- enthusiastically support ODS members and other senior developers with their coding and architecture.
- assistance with informing business units about our capabilities for product managers.
- Participate in code reviews and make suggestions for improvement.

- With a reasonable level of proficiency, in Angular (preferred), Vue, and Javascript/Typescript. or js’s React.
