Full Job Description :

At Wayfair, we believe that a great customer experience combined with a supportive staff system has resulted in an award-winning customer service team.

It’s not just about making another phone call, it’s about empowering our clients to create spaces that reflect who they are, what they want and what they value. You will play a critical role in delivering the highest quality experience when you need it. Wayfair will provide you with the training, tools and decision-making capabilities to help our customers find the best solutions for them. You will compassionately assist customers in resolving various ongoing issues such as: shipping issues, damages, returns, replacements, assembly services and notifications. There is no script. There is no defined answer. These are good human relationships where you can have a meaningful impact. Wayfair will invest in you through continuous development, career opportunities and a team of great people around you.

What does a member of staff do?

Demonstrated reliability: Attendance and commitment to being there for your daily work hours is very important. This helps ensure that we are ready and willing to help our customers when they need us most. For unforeseen events or issues, we ask our partners to be proactive in communication and planning where possible. Handle a high volume of contacts: You will handle approximately 50-60 phone calls per shift. It is a fast and well organized place. There is less time in this position as you often have to call back and forth during your shift.
Meet our High Performance Bar: You will work to exceed customer satisfaction, excel in meeting customer service performance metrics, and other duties as assigned. Attracting customers: You have to be interested in people. You will be the voice of Wayfair and you will work to build relationships with customers who contact us through inbound phone calls, chat and email. Topics can range from returns, replacements, deliveries, product availability, order status, and more.
Listen carefully and empathize: You must listen well enough to understand the customer’s important information in order to find the best way to resolve their issues quickly and efficiently. Reduces customer anxiety: Most customers contact us because they have a problem and need your help. You will use your conflict management skills to resolve customer needs and business decisions while maintaining peace of mind at all times. Problem Solving: Solutions are not one-size-fits-all, so customer service people don’t read pre-existing scripts. You will enjoy a level of independence to help clients find the right solution. You will need to think critically to solve customer problems and first contact decision making methods.
Multitasking: You will need to navigate multiple browsers, tabs, devices and screens to answer questions quickly and efficiently. A good customer service representative will be computer literate and able to navigate technology effectively on a daily basis.
Comments about the system are increasing: Help us continue to improve. You will identify areas where improvement is needed and share these steps with management.
