Full Job Description :

The primary responsibilities are:

using both the phone and email to carry out outbound sales. requires communicating weekly with a specific number of potential new clients as well as current clients. It must be possible to create a lead pipeline using original research. The ability to meet or surpass predetermined quarterly and annual sales goals, including specific targets for generating revenue from new accounts, is the main criterion used to evaluate performance.
Along with these sales responsibilities, the inside sales representative spends roughly 50% of their time working as a customer/dealer service representative.

Responsibilities:

Sales:

uses the phone and/or email to communicate with both current and potential new clients. follows the development of set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
provides comprehensive reporting on sales activities and results using cloud-based CRM software and other technological tools.
Identify potential new clients through market research and maintain a lead list in CRM software.
engages in trade shows, marketing campaigns, and perhaps other sales activities that could involve travel.

customer service:

assistance to the NatGeo Maps sales team. Order status updates, shipment tracking, processing of new accounts, processing of various information requests that may need research and updates on backorders are some of the activities.
organizes and enters orders (including EDI) in a Microsoft Dynamics environment.
For both retail and wholesale customers, support and solutions are provided by addressing errors, damaged shipments, order discrepancies, requests for credit, and other inquiries.
answers inquiries from the general public and end-user customers over the phone and via email. These include general questions about National Geographic and requests for licenses, reports of map errors, requests for donations, and requests for information about maps.

The following are the prerequisites:

understanding of the service cycles that customers need.
an appreciation of the great outdoors.
a capacity for collecting and analyzing high-quality sales leads.
committed to the details. fantastic organizational skills.
having a thorough understanding of and the ability to communicate the benefits and features of various cartographic products.
strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
accuracy in performing tasks based on mathematics.
Self-starter who is motivated, proactive, trustworthy, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
knowledge of CRM software. Preference will be given to Salesforce knowledge.
using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with ease.

Education is essential.

need a bachelor’s degree to qualify. a minimum of one year’s experience working in sales, customer service, or marketing, or the ability to acquire knowledge and skills that are comparable through experience.
