Data Engineer – Costco Logistics BI oversees the end-to-end data pipeline to power Costco Logistics reporting. This role is data engineering focused on creating and deploying automated data pipelines from a plethora of internal and external data sources. ● 2 + years of experience working with Cloud technology; such as ADLS, Azure Databricks, Spark, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB and other big data technologies.
● More than 2 years of experience in data processing, ETL and database.
● 2+ years of experience implementing data integration systems such as event / information based input (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL.
● 2+ years of experience in Git / Azure DevOps.
● Extensive experience working with various data sources; SQL, Sql Server database, flat file (csv, delimited), Web API, XML.
● Advanced knowledge in SQL; Understanding of relational databases, business data and ability to write robust SQL queries against various data sources.
● Good understanding of data security concepts; Data lakes, relational databases, NoSQL, graphs, data warehousing.
● Able to work in a fast paced development environment.
