Full Job Description : 

We are currently hiring a Construction Manager to lead a complex, multi-year effort to build a facility to support a new fleet of advanced financial processing machines in our San Francisco office. In addition to construction technical skills, knowledge of air compressors, dedicated HVAC systems, and other types of equipment will be essential. The work will require day and night work, will be done in a restricted area and will be heavily monitored.

This status is reported to the resource manager. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated and committed to the highest industry standards. Strong communication, problem solving skills and the ability to develop meaningful long-term relationships are essential.

You Will Be:

Develop and communicate to a diverse audience of end users, partners and service-wide vendors.
Assist in the development and management of project budgets and change requests. Works with the procurement department in the selection and engagement of professional specialists/contractors. Includes preparing all support instructions, scheduling price visits, answering vendor inquiries and conducting audits/reviews. Complete an established construction process using appropriate fixtures, fittings and fixtures.
Facilitate analysis of drawings and specifications with end user and partner representatives. Develop an understanding of the project management process so you can create and manage project management.
Identify hazards in the job and implement mitigation plans if necessary. Communicate and report project status to team members.
Organize the planning and construction process that will include access to the supplier’s premises. Facilitate cooperation with the project team to improve the design and solve building problems.
Review and monitor construction progress to ensure project conformance to approved project plans and specifications. Manage newly created log files and log job files.
Anticipate possible structural damage and devise strategies to minimize the impact on occupants. Manages all financial aspects of the project, including budgets, contracts, invoices, and legal changes.
Understand and be familiar with standard contract language and use it effectively for successful implementation. Complete other duties as assigned.
