The Operations Manager is responsible for the safety execution of daily operations plans and plans, managing, directing and allocating resources, distributing information to team members, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, performance and Financial KPI.

Identify and monitor performance goals, review daily and ensure all goals are met throughout the shift
Ensure/enhance FedEx Supply Chain team culture and establishment
Ensure the achievement of production, quality and safety goals of the installation
Review and ensure accuracy of production reports and inventory requirements
Coordinates and tracks performance aspects of the FedEx Supply Chain Core Excellence Program and regularly reviews to ensure full compliance.
Plan, monitor and manage actual performance against the operational side of the budget; this includes, but is not limited to, the proper management of departmental staffing levels, working hours and the total number of employees working
Prioritize work to ensure the right inventory goals are met
Ensure accuracy of shipping and handling in all transactions
Implement program improvement strategies using a quality-focused management system.
Assist the General Manager with special duties as required
Identify and coordinate the daily activities of 40-100 members; motivate your team to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality and work knowledge
Collaborate across departments to maximize productivity; promotes an environment where the diversity of the mountain startups is respected and valued
Ensure performance plans are implemented, maintained and continually improved; develop creative solutions to identify process improvements
Maintain a safe workplace by supporting safety training and emergency preparedness
Education/Experience/Skills:
A BA/BS degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or other related operational discipline is preferred. Alternatively, the military ranks are E-6-7/ or O-2-O3.
A minimum of five years of demonstrated supervisory experience, preferably in a high-end logistics area, responsible for WMS, QDM, LMS, P&L and technical management. Demonstrated leadership qualities that can lead other leaders
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Experience with Six Sigma or quality management systems and/or Green Belt certification
Strong analytical skills
Previous team building experience preferred
Previous budget estimates and P/L disclosures are a plus
