Full Job Description :

Minimum Qualifications:

Enroll now in a PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or Natural Sciences.
Experience in the field of computer science (such as natural language understanding, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, fundamentals of optimization algorithms, quantum information science, data science, software engineering, etc.).

Candidate Qualifications:

Currently participating in degree programs in the United States.
Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after completing the training. Experience as a researcher, including internships, full-time or in a laboratory.
Experience contributing to community or research efforts, including publication in conferences or journals. Experience with one or more general programming languages (eg C/C++, Java, MATLAB, Go, Python, etc.).
Ability to speak and write in English fluently. About work
The main goal of the Student-Researchers program is to promote collaboration between universities and students through research on Google. Join us for a paid research student position that offers the opportunity to work directly with Google researchers and engineers on research projects. The Student Research Program provides more opportunities for student researchers to conduct critical research at Google in an unstructured manner. This program offers opportunities beyond the limits of our traditional training program in areas such as time, placement and work environment (with on-site or remote options). The topics that research students work on are often open-ended and researched, and not always as well defined as a traditional industry would be.
