The Senior Architect for Cloud Cybersecurity is helping United Airlines with its efforts to develop cloud security capabilities. You will be in charge of the full-stack security architecture as a member of a multidisciplinary cyber team. The Architect will collaborate with the engineering, operations, product, and platform teams to ensure that security standard methodologies are used throughout the entire lifecycle of the application or system. They will also work together to create and keep up with security-related documentation. The job will help to continuously improve our cyber controls and related playbooks, workflows, processes, and procedures.

•  Develop and spread security and resilience architecture strategies, frameworks, and patterns in collaboration with other cybersecurity teams and partner organizations.
•  To ensure the adoption of business and industry-standard practices, work closely with collaborators to comprehend business needs and develop resiliency and security principles that support them.
•  shows expert technology competence in two or more areas, such as identity management, zero trust, and endpoint and data security, as well as infrastructure, platform, product, and endpoint security.
•  Examine the technical risks of the current network/system and application architectures (IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and on-premises) about the corresponding policies and risks, and provide appropriate remediation or risk reduction plans.
•  encourages the creation of and implementation of security frameworks and standards.
•  To integrate CI/CD pipeline tools, test plans, and tools for assessing cloud vulnerabilities, development, and engineering teams should be trained and coached in these skills.
•  Encourage the use of secure infrastructure-as-code for end-to-end configuration to ensure the success of the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
•  Threat modeling, end-to-end security evaluation, and the design and development of cloud security policies, standards, and procedures for various kinds of public, private, and hybrid clouds are all examples of cloud security practices.

 Qualifications.

What is necessary to succeed (Minimum Requirements):.

•  master’s diploma.
•  4+ years of direct cloud (AWS)-related technical experience.
•  understanding of the management, governance, and security services offered by AWS.
•  an established history of creating, refining, and utilizing security technologies, such as identity and access management, network security, and application and data security.
•  extensive knowledge of cloud computing technologies.
•  friendly nature with the ability to effectively manage a team or work as a team member.
•  strong communication skills both in writing and speaking.
•  possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and judgmental abilities.
•  logical constructions and programming languages.
•  understanding of common adversary tactics, strategies, and techniques.
•  the ability to comprehend packet-level analysis and traffic flow on the network.
•  The Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is aware of the practices that surround developer and DevOps experiences, such as code compilation, system image build (containers, system images), continuous integration, continuous deployment, and the tests and validations that occur during those processes.
