Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Digital Technology and Innovation group, which supports evolving digital platforms and enhances the integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities.
In this role, you’ll:
- Take charge of projects and deliverables that are moderately complex in environments with a focus on technical domains.
- Participate actively in the process of developing the strategy.
- Design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation are necessary for technology-related projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments.
- Review moderately challenging technical issues that demand a thorough examination of technologies and approaches.
- Lead a team to solve moderately complex problems and meet the needs of current or potential new clients by having a thorough understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
- Cooperate with mid-level managers to overcome technical challenges and achieve goals.
- project management, acting as a point of contact for complaints, and offering guidance and direction to less experienced employees.
The following are prerequisites for employment in the US:
- 3+ years of equivalent experience in software engineering, as demonstrated by any one or a combination of the following: formal education, professional training, work experience, and/or military service.
- Extensive knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.
- development of microservices experience of at least two years.
- application program interfaces (API) with RESTful functionality that have been designed and used for at least two years.
- At least two years’ worth of release management experience.
- two years’ worth of experience with APIGEE.
The following are desired credentials.
- At least three years of experience using SDLC tools and processes, such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven, or Gradle.
- 2 years or more of Agile experience.
- Knowledge of SQL for more than two years.
- the ability to design, develop, and use large-scale/complex software applications.
