Responsibilities:
- Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits.
- Compile and verify accuracy of information, sorting and preparing data for computer entry.
- Review data for errors or deficiencies, correcting discrepancies as necessary.
- Research and gather additional information for incomplete documents.
- Scan documents and print files when needed.
- Respond to information queries and access relevant files.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions.
Essential Duties:
- Insert customer and account data, inputting text-based and numerical information.
- Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities.
- Review and correct data for errors or inconsistencies.
- Perform administrative duties such as document scanning and filing.
- Maintain organizational systems to ensure information is up-to-date and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Proven data entry experience or previous office clerk role (preferred).
- Proficiency with MS Office and data programs.
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., fax machine, scanner).
- Strong typing speed and accuracy.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Organizational skills, with the ability to stay focused on tasks.
- High school diploma (or equivalent); additional computer training or certifications a plus.
