Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct federal background investigations and compile comprehensive reports in line with Federal Investigative Standards and agency guidelines.
- Travel to various locations including workplaces, residences, and educational institutions within your designated geographic area.
- Apply your problem-solving skills to ensure all investigative reports are thorough and meet federal requirements.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity while gathering detailed background information through interviews.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in conducting both in-person and remote interviews to gather detailed information about individuals’ backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting detailed reports and interacting with a diverse range of individuals and agencies.
- Must be comfortable with daily local travel for investigative purposes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
- Ability to work from home with high-speed internet and a fax line (government-provided laptop will be supplied).
