Job Title: Maps Evaluator (Part-Time)

Job Summary:
For thousands of years, maps have empowered people with the knowledge to make informed decisions. As a Maps Evaluator at Peroptyx, you will have the opportunity to provide ground truth for your town, city, or country by reviewing mapping data for digital navigation applications. This role involves validating navigation routes, business information, and ensuring location data accuracy to enhance user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of mapping data, including navigation routes, business names, and operating hours.
- Ensure that distances between points are correctly recorded for better navigation results.
- Conduct research to validate geographic and cultural information.
- Follow specific guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate map evaluations.
- Complete all work independently, adhering to deadlines and quality requirements.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Punjabi.
- Excellent research skills.
- Strong local knowledge of India, including geography and cultural nuances.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Job Requirements:
- Must have lived in India for at least 5 consecutive years.
- Must complete an online open-book assessment to demonstrate understanding of concepts and guidelines.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours and up to 20 hours per week based on task availability.
- Good knowledge of search engines, mapping applications, and social media platforms.
- Strong ability to learn, understand, and apply multiple sets of guidelines.
- All work must be performed independently.
Technical Requirements:
- Access to a computer or laptop with:
- A unique login account assigned solely to you.
- Up-to-date antivirus software with regular scans.
- Internet access suitable for research activities.
- Only one member per household may apply.
