Senior Site Civil Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Site Engineer to join our team at YRK Constructions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Railway Projects, RVNL or similar sectors, particularly focusing on Bridges and Building construction. The role requires excellent project management skills, the ability to arrange labor effectively, and a proven track record in delivering successful projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all civil engineering activities on-site, ensuring the work is carried out according to project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Supervise of foundations, substructure, and superstructure, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Prepare, review, and update the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) based on structural drawings and project requirements, Coordinate with the procurement/ stores teams to ensure timely availability of reinforcement steel materials.
• Prepare and submit Daily Project Reports (DPR), manpower, material usage, and any issues or delays encountered.
• Coordinate with the Site Supervisor and other team members to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
• Review material submittals and check that all materials used on-site comply with project requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress logs, material consumption, labor hours, and safety inspections.

Requirements:

• Diploma / BTech (Civil)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Construction projects, preferably in Railways/RVNL.
• Ability to travel occasionally if needed.
• Telugu speaking is a must
