Position: Tally Specialist/Accounts Manager
Location: Bangalore
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in Tally and factory/manufacturing operations.
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tally Expert to manage end-to-end accounting, financial operations, and inventory management using Tally ERP in our manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize all accounting processes in the factory, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and operational efficiency. They will also guide and mentor a team of accounting staff, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:Tally Management

  • End-to-End Tally ERP Operations:
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, inventory, payroll, GST filings, and other taxation-related entries.
  • Set up and maintain accounting configurations in Tally, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial and taxation laws.
  • Financial Transactions:
  • Handle all financial transactions and reconciliations, including cash flow statements, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
  • Create detailed financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and GST compliance reports.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory through Tally.
  • Generate inventory reports and integrate them with production cycles to avoid stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure cost-effective stock management and oversee monthly stock reconciliation.

Team Management

  • Supervision and Mentoring:
  • Guide and mentor a team of 2-4 accounting and operational staff.
  • Allocate tasks, review daily operations, and ensure the team adheres to established processes.
  • Provide hands-on training on Tally ERP and ensure timely completion of tasks by the team.

Process Improvement

  • System Optimization:
  • Analyze existing accounting workflows and identify areas for automation or improvement within Tally ERP.
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to integrate Tally with manufacturing and logistics.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime: Advanced knowledge of Tally functions, modules, and reporting tools.
  • Accounting Expertise: Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other tax compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience in guiding and managing a team of accounting professionals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset to troubleshoot discrepancies in financial data or inventory.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling numbers, reporting, and inventory management.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with factory operations, inventory control, and production costing will be an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in managing Tally ERP systems in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Certifications in Tally ERP or similar software are a plus.
