We are looking for a motivated and versatile person who can serve as a Virtual Assistant and Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a Virtual Assistant & Bookkeeper at Essential Mortgage & Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company by handling various administrative and financial tasks. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, from email management to bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize company emails, responding to inquiries when necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining the marketing budget and coordinating marketing initiatives.
  • Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by management.
  • Pay bills and manage accounts payable and receivable as needed.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into accounting software (Xero or MYOB).
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Prepare and process company pay runs.
  • Assist in the preparation of GST returns and other financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work from home.
  • Must have a PC/laptop with a steady internet connection.
  • Must able to Work in Indian Timings: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM (9 Hour Shift).
