Accounting Intern – US Healthcare

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team and support our healthcare financial operations. This role offers hands-on experience in the US healthcare sector and requires availability to work during US night shift hours.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform data entry and reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with US healthcare financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in audits, budget preparation, and cost analysis.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial reports and statements.
• Provide administrative support for the accounting department as needed.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial software (experience with QuickBooks or similar tools is a plus).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while adapting to night shift schedules.
• Previous experience or willingness to work in night shifts is preferred.
