Lead the development and implementation of Visa’s data strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
Manage a team of data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities for data-driven solutions.
Use advanced analytics techniques to uncover insights and trends in data, and effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to leverage data and resources.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science, and continuously identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of predictive models and algorithms to support business decision making.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy, and implement best practices for data management and governance.
Present data-driven recommendations and insights to senior leadership, influencing strategic business decisions.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for data science initiatives.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision making and promote the use of data science across the organization.
Act as an ambassador for Visa’s data-driven culture, both internally and externally.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data science initiatives.
Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging trends and technologies in the field of data science.

Job Qualifications
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or Data Science.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Data Science, With 5 Years In A Leadership Or Managerial Role.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Data Science Teams To Deliver Impactful Projects And Drive Business Growth.
Extensive Knowledge Of Data Mining, Machine Learning, And Statistical Modeling Techniques, As Well As Experience With Relevant Tools And Programming Languages (E.g. Python, R, Sql).
Strong Business Acumen And Strategic Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Translate Complex Data Insights Into Actionable Recommendations For Business Stakeholders.
