Lead the development and maintenance of Geico’s payment platform.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
Utilize strong technical skills to design and implement complex payment systems.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in payment technology.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of payment systems to ensure high quality and reliability.
Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain documentation for the payment platform.
Communicate progress, updates, and challenges to management and stakeholders.

Proactively identify and suggest areas for process improvement.

Job Qualifications
Extensive Experience In Payments Platform Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Maintaining Payments Platforms, Preferably In The Insurance Or Financial Services Industry.
Strong Technical Skills: A Senior Staff Engineer Should Possess Advanced Skills In Programming Languages Such As Java, C++, Or Python, As Well As Experience With Api Development And Integration.
Leadership And Project Management Experience: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team And Manage Complex Projects. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance: The Payments Platform At Geico Auto Insurance Must Comply With Various Industry Regulations, Such As Pci-Dss And Gdpr. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations And Experience In Implementing Compliance Processes.
