Conduct thorough and timely investigations of commercial trucking claims, including gathering and reviewing all relevant information and documentation.
Evaluate liability and coverage issues to determine appropriate course of action for each claim.
Provide accurate and timely communication to all parties involved in the claims process, including policyholders, attorneys, and other insurance professionals.
Utilize legal knowledge and expertise to interpret policy language and determine coverage for commercial trucking claims.
Analyze medical records and other relevant documents to determine the extent of injuries and damages in a claim.
Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority levels, ensuring fair and prompt resolutions for policyholders.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to commercial trucking insurance.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and legal, to identify potential risk areas and develop strategies for mitigating them.
Maintain accurate and organized claim files and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for policyholders throughout the claims process.
Serve as a mentor and resource for other team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve overall team performance.

Job Qualifications
Juris Doctorate Degree: A Sr Commercial Casualty Trucking Examiner At Geico Auto Insurance Must Hold A Juris Doctorate (J.d.) Degree, Which Is A Professional Degree In Law.
Extensive Knowledge Of Commercial Trucking Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Commercial Trucking, Including But Not Limited To Fmcsa Regulations, Dot Regulations, And Insurance Requirements.
Previous Experience In Insurance Claims Handling: Geico Auto Insurance Expects Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Handling Commercial Trucking Insurance Claims, Preferably In A Senior/Examiner Role.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Sr Commercial Casualty Trucking Examiner, One Must Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Evaluate Complex Claims And Determine The Appropriate Course Of Action.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Abilities: The Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Clients, Attorneys, And Other Stakeholders. Hence, Strong Communication, Negotiation, And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Position.
