Maintain cleanliness and safety standards: The Floor Tech is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the healthcare facility are kept clean and free of hazards, following established cleaning and safety protocols.
Perform floor care tasks: The Floor Tech will be responsible for tasks such as mopping, sweeping, buffing, and waxing floors, as well as shampooing carpets and cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.
Monitor and report any maintenance issues: The Floor Tech will be responsible for identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair needs in a timely manner to ensure a safe and functional environment for residents and staff.
Follow infection control procedures: The Floor Tech will play a critical role in preventing the spread of infections by following proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Work as part of a team: The Floor Tech will collaborate with other team members, such as housekeeping and maintenance staff, to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to facility maintenance and cleaning.
Adhere to company policies and regulations: The Floor Tech must comply with all company policies and regulations, including those related to safety, infection control, and confidentiality.
Provide exceptional customer service: As a representative of the healthcare facility, the Floor Tech must be professional, friendly, and approachable, providing excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
Attend training and education sessions: The Floor Tech will be expected to attend and participate in training and education sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and company policies.
Demonstrate attention to detail: The Floor Tech must have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas of the facility are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In Floor Care, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Floor Care Equipment And Chemicals, Including Proper Usage And Safety Procedures.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Such As Furniture And Equipment, Up To 50 Pounds.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Families, And Staff.
