Manage EDA software licenses: Responsible for managing and maintaining all Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software licenses for Qualcomm.
Troubleshoot licensing issues: Proactively identify and troubleshoot any licensing issues that may arise, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted use of EDA tools by Qualcomm employees.
Optimize license usage: Continuously monitor and analyze license usage to ensure optimal utilization and identify areas for improvement.
Streamline processes: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the management of EDA licenses, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in EDA software licensing, and make recommendations for best practices within the company.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and procurement, to ensure compliance with software license agreements and optimize license usage.
Provide training and support: Train and support Qualcomm employees on EDA software license usage and best practices, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate records: Maintain accurate records of all EDA software licenses, including renewal dates, usage data, and contract terms.
Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with all software license agreements and negotiate with vendors as needed to optimize license usage and reduce costs.
Monitor license costs: Monitor and track license costs, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures where applicable.
Communicate with vendors: Act as the main point of contact for EDA software vendors, managing communication and negotiations related to license agreements and renewals.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Analysis And Support, Preferably In The Technology Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Eda (Electronic Design Automation) Software And Tools, Such As Cadence Or Synopsys.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, Perl, Or Tcl.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
