Develop and maintain our PDK/CAD design automation flow for advanced semiconductor technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and provide solutions for PDK and CAD tool integration.
Utilize your expertise in PDK development and CAD tool integration to enable our engineers to design and deliver world-class products.
Work closely with EDA tool vendors to evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies into our design flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to PDK and CAD tool integration.
Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve design efficiency and productivity.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PDK and CAD design automation.
Train and mentor junior team members on PDK and CAD design automation.
Collaborate with design teams to identify and implement improvements in the design flow.
Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for PDK and CAD design automation.
Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges in the design flow.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide updates on PDK and CAD design automation progress and discuss any issues or concerns.
Continuously strive to improve and optimize the PDK and CAD design automation flow to meet the evolving needs of the company.
Act as a subject matter expert for PDK and CAD design automation and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Job Qualifications
Extensive Experience In Pdk/Cad Design Automation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pdk/Cad Design Automation, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Automation Solutions For Complex Design Flows.
Strong Knowledge Of Eda Tools And Methodologies: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Industry-Standard Eda Tools And Methodologies, Including Schematic Capture, Layout, Simulation, And Verification. Experience With Cadence, Synopsys, And Mentor Graphics Tools Is Highly Desirable.
Proficiency In Programming Languages: A Solid Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As Python, Tcl, And Perl Is Essential For Developing And Maintaining Automation Scripts. Familiarity With Software Version Control Systems Like Git Is Also Preferred.
Expertise In Custom Pdk Development: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing Custom Pdks For Advanced Process Nodes, Including The Creation Of Device Models, Layout Generators, And Design Rule Checks. Knowledge Of Drc/Lvs And Parasitic Extraction Is A Must.
Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Be A Proactive Problem Solver With Excellent Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Work Independently And Collaboratively To Identify And Resolve Issues Related To Pdk/Cad Design Automation.
