Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasounds.
Ensure proper positioning of patients and adjust equipment settings to obtain high-quality images.
Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to analyze and interpret images.
Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and consistency of imaging.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide a positive patient experience.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
Assist with training and mentoring new imaging techs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely patient care.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field: A Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Mc Multi-Modality Imaging Tech Position At Baptist Health South Florida. This Education Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills In Imaging Techniques And Equipment Operation.
Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt): To Work As A Mc Multi-Modality Imaging Tech, Candidates Must Hold A Valid Certification From The Arrt. This Certification Ensures That The Individual Has Met The National Standards For Education, Ethics, And Clinical Competency.
Experience In Multiple Imaging Modalities: Baptist Health South Florida Requires Candidates To Have Experience In Multiple Imaging Modalities Such As Mri, Ct, And Pet/Ct. This Demonstrates The Candidate’s Ability To Operate And Interpret Results From A Variety Of Imaging Equipment.
Knowledge Of Pacs And Ris Systems: As A Mc Multi-Modality Imaging Tech, Candidates Must Be Familiar With Picture Archiving And Communication Systems (Pacs) And Radiology Information Systems (Ris). These Systems Are Used To Store And Manage Digital Images And Patient Information, Respectively.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial For A Mc Multi-Modality Imaging Tech. Candidates Must Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate Care And Collaborate Effectively With The Healthcare Team.
