Provide orientation and guidance to new Nurse Scholars, including familiarizing them with the program’s goals, expectations, and resources.

Facilitate hands-on training and learning opportunities for Nurse Scholars, both in classroom and clinical settings.

Develop and implement educational programs and materials to support the learning and growth of Nurse Scholars.

Monitor and evaluate the progress of Nurse Scholars, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback and support.

Collaborate with experienced professionals to provide mentorship and guidance to Nurse Scholars.

Maintain accurate records of Nurse Scholars’ progress and attendance.

Coordinate and schedule rotations and placements for Nurse Scholars in various healthcare settings.

Organize and facilitate educational workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities for Nurse Scholars.

Serve as a liaison between Nurse Scholars and other healthcare professionals within Baptist Health South Florida.

Cultivate a positive and supportive learning environment for Nurse Scholars, promoting teamwork, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Encourage and support Nurse Scholars in their personal and professional development, including pursuing advanced education and certifications.

Act as a role model and ambassador for Baptist Health South Florida and the nursing profession, promoting the values of excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing: Applicants Should Possess A Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

Active Rn License: Candidates Must Hold A Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida.

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience: Applicants Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.

Strong Academic Background: Candidates Should Have A Strong Academic Record With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0 Or Above.
