Oversee and manage the BHE Construction team, ensuring efficient and effective execution of construction projects for Baptist Health South Florida facilities.
Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Lead and guide the team through the planning, design, and construction phases of projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
Utilize strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure high-quality work and continuous improvement.
Work closely with external contractors and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Collaborate with other departments and teams within Baptist Health South Florida to ensure alignment and coordination on construction projects.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve processes and procedures within the BHE Construction team.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Construction Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Construction Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Construction Projects, Including Budget And Schedule Management.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Contractors, Subcontractors, And Other Project Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Construction Regulations And Codes, As Well As Experience Working With Hospital Staff And Patients In A Construction Environment.
