Provide exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions, utilizing advanced nursing knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Monitor and assess patients’ cardiac status, including vital signs, lab values, and diagnostic test results.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatments, and self-care management.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patients’ conditions.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as professional nursing standards.
Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and addressed.
Continuously strive for professional development through education and training opportunities.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for cardiac nursing.

Job Qualifications
Valid Rn License In The State Of Connecticut
Bls And Acls Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Preferred
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Cardiac Med Surg Unit
Strong Clinical Skills In Managing Acute And Chronic Cardiac Conditions, Including Ability To Interpret Ekgs And Administer Cardiac Medications.
