Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in the Adult Acute Care Medicine department of Yale New Haven Health System.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Utilize critical thinking skills and evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs, lab results, and other relevant information.
Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
Stay up-to-date on current nursing practices and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with fellow team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Provide support and guidance to less experienced nurses and other healthcare team members.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.
Bls And Acls Certifications.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Adult Acute Care Medicine.
Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In The Areas Of Assessment, Diagnosis, And Treatment Of Acute Medical Conditions.
