Provide exceptional care to patients recovering from stroke and managing heart and vascular conditions.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
Educate patients and their families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Stay updated on current trends and advancements in cardiovascular care.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Serve as an advocate for patients and their families.
Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Mentor and train new staff members.
Maintain professional development and certifications.
Collaborate with community resources to provide support for patients after discharge.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
Support a positive and welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
Bls And Acls Certification.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Connecticut.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cardiovascular/Vascular Unit Or With Stroke Patients.
Additional Certifications Such As Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (Cnrn) Or Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (Csrs) Are Preferred.
