Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments according to established protocols and procedures.
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans for each patient.
Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and necessary precautions.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure effective and coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medication administration and treatment plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed.
Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients.
Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and respond to potential complications or adverse reactions.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during the infusion therapy process.
Stay up-to-date on current infusion therapy techniques, treatments, and equipment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Maintain professional standards and adhere to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Attend training and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge as needed.
Serve as a positive role model and mentor for other healthcare team members.

Job Qualifications
Current Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.
Bsn Degree From An Accredited Nursing Program.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Infusion Rn.
Certification In Infusion Therapy (Crni) Preferred.
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Infusion Therapy Equipment And Procedures, Including Iv Therapy Management And Sterile Technique.
