- Provide high-quality and compassionate nursing care to patients in the General Operating Room at Cleveland Clinic.
- Utilize advanced nursing skills and knowledge to assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, assess for any changes in condition, and intervene as necessary to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patient needs and preferences are respected and addressed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced nursing staff.
- Maintain professional standards of practice and ethical conduct at all times.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental and organizational goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution
- Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio
- Bls And Acls Certification From The American Heart Association
- Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Surgical Setting, Preferably In The Operating Room
- Strong Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Instrumentation, And Equipment
