Learn from Experienced Pharmacists: The apprentice will have the opportunity to learn from experienced pharmacists and gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy.
Provide Excellent Customer Service: The apprentice will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all Walgreens’ customers.
Gain Hands-On Experience: The apprentice will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting, preparing them for a successful career as a pharmacy technician.
Demonstrate Passion for Healthcare: The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the healthcare industry and be passionate about helping others.
Follow Pharmacy Procedures: The apprentice will be responsible for following all pharmacy procedures and protocols to ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
Maintain Attention to Detail: The apprentice must have strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in filling prescriptions and maintaining inventory.
Collaborate with Team Members: The apprentice will work closely with other team members, including pharmacists, to ensure efficient and effective operations of the pharmacy.
Complete Training Program: The apprentice will be responsible for completing the required training program, which includes both classroom and practical training, to become a licensed pharmacy technician.
Uphold Company Standards: The apprentice will be expected to uphold Walgreens’ values and standards of professionalism and customer service.
High School Diploma or Equivalent: The candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for the apprenticeship program.
Maintain Confidentiality: The apprentice must maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
Display Strong Work Ethic: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Commit to Career Development: The apprentice is expected to be committed to their career development and willing to learn and grow within the pharmacy technician role.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship At Walgreens Requires A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or An Equivalent Degree.
State Certification: Candidates Must Have A State-Issued Pharmacy Technician Certification Or Be In The Process Of Obtaining It In Order To Be Considered For The Position.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As Pharmacy Technicians Interact With Customers On A Daily Basis, Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Attention To Detail: Pharmacy Technicians Must Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Fill Prescriptions And Maintain Inventory.
