Assist and support experienced pharmacists and technicians in day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
Learn and understand the fundamentals of the pharmaceutical industry.
Participate in on-the-job training to gain practical experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
Learn and adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medication and supplies.
Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Learn and utilize pharmacy software and technology accurately and efficiently.
Observe and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
Support the pharmacy team in providing education and counseling to customers on medication usage.
Continuously strive to improve and expand knowledge and skills in the pharmaceutical field.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other team members.
Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For A Pharmacy Technician Or Pharm Tech Apprenticeship At Walgreens.
State Pharmacy Technician License: Candidates Must Possess A Valid State Pharmacy Technician License, Or Be Actively Enrolled In A Pharmacy Technician Training Program, In Order To Be Considered For The Apprenticeship Program.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For A Pharmacy Technician Or Pharm Tech Apprenticeship At Walgreens. Candidates Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Pharmacists, Customers, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Attention To Detail: Attention To Detail Is Critical In The Pharmacy Setting, As A Small Error In Medication Dosage Or Labeling Can Have Serious Consequences. Candidates For The Apprenticeship Program Should Possess Strong Attention To Detail And Be Able To Accurately Follow Instructions And Procedures.
Customer Service Experience: Previous Customer Service Experience Is Preferred For A Pharmacy Technician Or Pharm Tech Apprenticeship At Walgreens. Candidates Should Have A Friendly And Helpful Demeanor, As They Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis And Providing Them With Important Medication Information.
