Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting patients and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Utilize knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling to accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when entering and verifying prescription information.
Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing of prescriptions.
Follow all standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Assist in inventory management and order processing to ensure an adequate supply of medications.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Provide support and guidance to less experienced pharmacy technicians.
Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy operations and patient confidentiality.
Continuously update knowledge of medications, procedures, and regulations to provide the best possible service to customers.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Certified Pharmacy Technician At Walgreens Must Have Completed High School Or Obtained A Ged.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Walgreens Requires All Its Pharmacy Technicians To Be Certified By The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting: Walgreens Prefers Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In A Retail Pharmacy Setting.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Regulations: A Certified Pharmacy Technician At Walgreens Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Filling Prescriptions, Managing Inventory, And Adhering To State And Federal Regulations.
