Develop and maintain automated tests using Cypress for various software products at Autodesk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test cases accordingly.
Identify and troubleshoot software defects and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Continuously improve and optimize existing test scripts to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Analyze test results and report on software quality metrics to stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest automation trends and technologies in the industry and evaluate their suitability for our testing needs.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on automation best practices.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Work closely with product managers and engineers to plan and prioritize test automation efforts.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on test progress and any issues or roadblocks.
Actively contribute to the overall improvement of the automation testing process and advocate for continuous improvement.
Follow established QA processes and contribute to their improvement as needed.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Act as a subject matter expert on Cypress automation and provide training and support to team members as needed.
Proactively identify and recommend areas for automation to enhance the overall testing strategy.

Job Qualifications
Extensive Experience With Cypress Automation Framework: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Cypress Automation Framework And Be Able To Design And Implement Complex Automation Scripts Using It.
Proficiency In Programming Languages: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Javascript, Typescript, And Html/Css, Which Are Used In Cypress Automation. Knowledge Of Other Languages Like Python And Java Is Also Beneficial.
Experience With Software Testing Methodologies: A Senior Automation Developer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Testing Methodologies And How To Apply Them Effectively In An Agile Development Environment.
