Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients according to prescriptions and dosage instructions.
Review patient medication profiles for potential drug interactions, allergies, and other contraindications.
Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and other important information.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the safe and effective use of medications for patients.
Monitor and track medication inventory levels, ordering and restocking as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Stay informed about new medications, drug therapies, and pharmaceutical developments in order to provide the best care for patients.
Participate in the implementation of new pharmacy programs and services to improve patient care and outcomes.
Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy, including HIPAA compliance.
Train and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and efficient medication dispensing and patient care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy management plans for patients with chronic conditions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and disposal of medications.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with changes in the field of pharmacy.
Promote the Walgreens brand and mission by providing exceptional patient care and service at all times.
