Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
Scan and bag merchandise for customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cash register and surrounding areas.
Answer customer questions and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Promote and upsell JCPenney credit card and loyalty program to customers.
Keep up-to-date with current promotions and sales to inform customers and drive sales.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a positive and seamless shopping experience for customers.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.
Maintain a friendly and positive attitude towards customers and co-workers.
Attend training sessions and meetings to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, such as handling long lines or difficult customers.
