Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere in the store
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving any issues or concerns
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of home decor products and assist customers in finding the perfect items for their needs
Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat business
Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting products and services
Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance the customer’s shopping experience
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store’s POS system
Attend and actively participate in training sessions and product knowledge seminars to stay up-to-date on new products and promotions
Collaborate with team members to ensure the store is properly stocked and visually appealing
Actively seek out and pursue additional sales opportunities, such as upselling or cross-selling, to increase revenue
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety and security measures, cash handling, and customer privacy
Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and provide feedback to management on ways to enhance the customer experience
Maintain a positive attitude and represent the JCPenney brand with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Home Commission Associate Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service And Build Relationships With Customers.
Knowledge Of Home Merchandise: Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of Home Merchandise, Including Furniture, Home Decor, And Bedding, To Assist Customers With Their Purchases And Inquiries.
