Conduct surveillance of store premises to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and other security risks.
Monitor and analyze security footage to identify suspicious or criminal activity.
Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement strategies for preventing loss and maintaining a safe environment.
Respond to and investigate any potential security incidents, including interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence.
Report any security incidents or violations to store management and local law enforcement as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents and investigations.
Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring all security measures are in place.
Conduct regular audits of store inventory and cash handling procedures to identify potential areas of risk.
Train and educate store team members on security protocols and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any security concerns or issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality in all security-related matters.
Stay informed and up-to-date on industry best practices and new security technologies.
Act as a role model for other team members by demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and a commitment to company values.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
