Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor as they enter the store.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
Handle returns and exchanges in a timely and professional manner.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns or issues.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags and wrapping materials.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Adhere to all cash handling and loss prevention procedures.
Upsell and promote store credit cards and other promotions to customers.
Stay up-to-date on current promotions and sales to inform customers.
Assist with inventory management by counting and organizing cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
Attend training sessions and meetings to stay informed on company policies and procedures.
Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to better assist customers.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Take initiative to help with tasks and duties outside of cashiering, such as restocking shelves or helping customers find products.
Communicate any customer feedback or issues to management for further action.
