Monitor and patrol the store premises to deter and prevent theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
Conduct routine inspections of merchandise, entrances, and exits to identify potential security risks.
Act as a visible deterrent to potential shoplifters and other security threats.
Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor store activity and identify suspicious behavior.
Collaborate with management and other team members to develop and implement strategies to prevent theft and reduce security risks.
Respond to and resolve any security-related incidents in a timely and professional manner.
Document all security incidents and maintain accurate records for reporting and future reference.
Conduct thorough investigations of suspected theft and other security incidents.
Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and law enforcement officials when necessary.
Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws related to asset protection.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to asset protection.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
Assist in training and mentoring new team members on asset protection protocols and procedures.
Continuously assess and improve security measures to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
Comply with all safety and security standards set by the company.

Job Qualifications
Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Protecting Assets And Preventing Loss In A Retail Or Similar Environment. This Could Include Experience As A Loss Prevention Officer, Security Guard, Or Similar Role.
Knowledge Of Security And Surveillance Systems: Asset Protection Associates Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Security And Surveillance Systems, Including Cctv Cameras, Alarms, And Access Control Systems. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Monitor And Respond To Potential Threats.
