Greet and welcome customers to the beauty department with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Engage with customers to understand their beauty needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations and guidance.
Demonstrate and promote various beauty products and services, highlighting their features and benefits.
Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products in order to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
Educate customers on proper usage and application of beauty products, as well as provide tips and tricks for achieving desired results.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling payments and returns.
Maintain a clean and organized beauty department, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed.
Collaborate with team members and managers to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars to continually enhance knowledge and expertise in the beauty industry.
Uphold company policies and procedures, including but not limited to customer service standards and merchandising guidelines.
Resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, representing the JCPenney brand and values at all times.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and demonstrating beauty products.
Continuously strive to improve sales skills and customer interactions to contribute to the success of the beauty department and the store as a whole.

Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Beauty Consultant, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential. This Includes Being Able To Listen To Customers’ Needs, Offer Personalized Recommendations, And Provide Exceptional Service To Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
Sales And Marketing Experience: Jcpenney Beauty Consultants Are Expected To Meet Sales Goals And Promote New Products And Promotions. Having Experience In Sales And Marketing Will Give You An Advantage In This Role.
