Review and analyze insurance claims to determine coverage and compensation.
Communicate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other parties involved in the claims process.
Utilize strong analytical skills to accurately assess claims and make appropriate decisions.
Investigate and gather necessary information to make informed claim decisions.
Adhere to company policies and procedures while handling claims.
Maintain accurate and organized records of claims and related documentation.

Provide exceptional customer service and support to policyholders throughout the claims process.

Stay current on industry best practices and changes in insurance laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In A Relevant Field: A Strong Educational Background In Fields Such As Insurance, Finance, Or Business Administration Is Typically Required For A Claims Examiner Position At Reinsurance Group Of America (Rga).
Prior Experience In Claims Handling: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Insurance Claims Handling, Preferably In A Reinsurance Or Insurance Company.
Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Procedures: Claims Examiners Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Insurance Policies, Regulations, And Industry Standards To Accurately Assess And Process Claims.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Claims Examiners Need To Be Able To Review Complex Claims And Make Informed Decisions Based On Their Analysis. Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.
